In the morning, Sean introduced Sarah to us. Sarah is a sales
representative of our team and she taught us the sales skills including how to
interact with coming customers, make cold calls, and build relationships with
sponsors. We also had role play with Sean and Sarah to face different
challenges and situations. This reminds me the sales training when I went to Sports
Sales Combine in April this year at Pittsburgh. According to my past
experience, I believe practice makes perfect. These training programs can
assist me to become the sales with advanced skills.
After the sales training,
we were divided into two groups delivering vouchers to the military base in St.
Charles County, Prince George’s County, and Washington D.C. It is part of our
marketing learning process because every baseball team now has different theme
nights or appreciation night. We need to give away the voucher to attract big
groups people coming to our game. For example, Military and fire departments
are big groups. In the afternoon, Anthony, Keith, Ashley, and I went to ten
different military base and we built a good relationship with these soldiers.
